Required for each driver
For insurance purposes, all drivers must have held a full MANUAL driver’s license for at least 24 months prior to collection of the vehicle.
There can be no exceptions to this requirement.
Driver licences issued in the UK, EU (except where listed below), Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa, USA are accepted for insurance purposes.
Driver licences issued in Belarus, Bermuda, Bosnia, Hong Kong, Israel, Latvia, Montenegro, Russia, Serbia, Singapore, Turkey are also accepted however will need to pay a higher Insurance Excess Deposit.
Drivers with licenses issued from other countries will be considered on a case by case basis at the discretion of the Owner and the Insurance provider. Please email louise@glampervanuk.com or telephone +44 747 0087491 to discuss.
Drivers who have non UK driver's licenses are requested to visit the UK Road Rules page to learn the UK road signs and rules.
To meet the insurance criteria, drivers must be aged between 21 and 75.
Note that there are additional insurance excess requirements for drivers who are aged 21 to 25.
21-22 years old - £1000 insurance excess
23-24 years old - £750 insurance excess
25-75 years old - £500 insurance excess
Drivers aged between 76 to 79 will be considered on a case by case basis, at the discretion of the Owner and the Insurance provider.
Note that there may be an additional insurance deposits and excess charges.

Following confirmation of booking, each driver will need to forward the above documentation to louise@glampervanuk.com.
Each driver’s ORIGINAL license and passport will need to be presented at the time of vehicle collection.
The Owner reserves the right to cancel the Glampervan hire if, at the presentation of the documentation they are found to be invalid; not in accordance with the required conditions; or if insurance is declined for any reason. Note that rental fees will not be refunded.
a) Persons who have been convicted of an offence in connection with the driving of a motor vehicle or motorcycle and/or have had their driving licence endorsed or suspended; or had more than 6 penalty points imposed.
b) Persons who have had their insurance declined and/or renewal refused and/or special insurance terms imposed as a result of previous claims and/or have had their insurance or cover cancelled by any Motor Insurer.
c) Persons engaged wholly or partly in professional entertainment or professional sports persons.
d) Jockeys and persons connected with racing, gaming industry or press of any sort.
e) Undergraduates and/or students under 25 years of age.
f) Persons who, whilst driving, have been involved in more than one accident during the past 3 years.
g) Foreign Service Personnel other than persons holding a full UK/EU licence for two years or more.
Note that driving without insurance is a criminal offence in the United Kingdom.
